It’s Regionals time once again on this week’s episode of Glee and the New Directions are more determined than ever to make it to Nationals. But they’re going to have to outdo their biggest rivals, the Hoosier Daddies, and their head diva, Frida Romero, played by American Idol’s Jessica Sanchez.

After Idol, Sanchez got a call from Glee creator Ryan Murphy asking if she wanted to appear on the show’s season four finale, but Sanchez admitted to Radio.com she didn’t say yes to the role right away.

“I told him, ‘I can’t act, I’ve never acted before,’” she said. “But he called back and said, ‘I would love you on the show.’”

Right after the call, Sanchez started taking acting classes to prepare herself for the shoot.

“The whole process went really, really, really fast and it was lots of long days and lots of hard work,” she said. “But it was definitely fun and everybody is so nice.”

On the show, Sanchez shows off her voice with Zedd’s “Clarity.” She and the rest of the Hoosier Daddies take on the EDM hit and make the bittersweet anthem even more high-energy–no easy feat.

With her version of “Wings” by Little Mix, the AI alum shows off her sassy side and has us wondering how such a big voice comes out of such a small girl.

But the finale isn’t all about Sanchez. Glee fans will finally find out if Blaine and Kurt actually say, “I do”; who’s been catfishing Ryder; and whether Rachel will be Broadway’s next big star.

Brittany will also decide whether or not she should head to MIT in the fall. It seems Brittany might be one of the greatest minds since Albert Einstein.  Surprising, we know.
